Curiosity Leads You to Porn but It Can Also Save You from Watching Porn

In my last video I said that one common pattern is boredom leads you to scroll.

Then you stumble across a video of a woman and you ask yourself, “I wonder if she has an OnlyFans account? I wonder if she makes adult content?”

Curiosity Can Lead You to Porn

So that’s curiosity leading you to porn.

But curiosity can also lead you away from porn.

Use Curiosity Differently

Instead of following the urge, use curiosity to ask yourself questions.

When you ask yourself questions, your brain automatically starts looking for answers.

So the next time you see yourself heading toward porn, ask yourself:

  • Do I really want to do this?
  • Do I really want to relapse again?
  • What if I can just have urges and not watch porn?
  • What if I can do something different?

Interrupt the Pattern

These questions not only create curiosity, they also interrupt your pattern.

You are interrupting the automatic behavior and slowing yourself down so you can make a conscious decision about whether you want to watch porn or not.

Choose Your Response

And that’s what this is all about.

It’s about breaking the patterns and rewiring yourself so you can choose to respond instead of reacting and watching porn.
